Jamie Moyer Oldest Pitcher to Win a Game

49 year old Jamie Moyer won another game last night. The Rockies pitcher threw seven strong innings and helped his team defeat the San Diego Padres. Eventhough Moyer is 49 years 153 days old, he was able to shut down the Padres. Remarkably, Moyer has a 2.55 ERA through three starts this season. Moyer's performance is absolutely incredible. How can that guy still bring it at his age? This guy is a Hall of Famer. Something that sums up the O's recently is that Peter Angelos said Moyer was done back in 1995 when they got rid of him. That is eighteen years ago! Now Moyer is the Rockies #2 starter at age 49!
