Tillman Wins Back to Back Starts?

Why did I put the question mark? Because Chris Tillman had never won back to back starts before today. Well, that has changed now. Chris Tillman has finally had back to back wins and has managed back to back quality starts for the second time in his career. Tillman was a warrior today, battling through flu like symptoms. Very impressive performance from Tillman. He gave up 2 runs in 6 innings. That'll do.
Additionally the other pitchers were great again. Strop and Johnson came in. End of story. Obviously they pitched a scoreless inning a piece and looked dominate. Strop is the man!

The offense looked good as well. 6 runs will work against the Rays. If we can get that off of James Shields, we are in good shape. Chris Davis carried the offense today. 4 RBIs! Davis also managed to hit his 16th home run of the season. The other Oriole with multiple hits was....Nick Markakis. That one is not surprising at all. Markakis is our best player. Since Day 1 in a Oriole uniform, that is what Nick Markakis has been for the Baltimore Orioles. The guy is just so consistent and solid. I've been saying for a long time, Markakis as a leadoff hitter just makes sense.

Little bit of unfortunate news from the game as JJ Hardy had to get X-Rays on his ribcage after being hit by a pitch. We definitely need JJ to be healthy with our defensive struggles.
