#1 Prospect in Baseball

According to Baseball America, Dylan Bundy is the best prospect in all of baseball. They came to this conclusion after the overwhelming majority of scouts told them that Bundy was clearly the best. Bundy ranked #1 on the list which was released today. These midseason rankings must come as a welcome sign to all Orioles fans.

Bundy started at Delmarva in unbelievable fashion. He threw 30 scoreless innings to start his career. The right hander gave up only five hits in that time and 40 strikeouts.

Following his domination at Delmarva, Bundy was moved up to Frederick. He is pitching to a 3.58 ERA in Frederick with a 4-2 record.

In a related story, Manny Machado was the #9 prospect in all of baseball. This has to be incredibly exciting to our entire fanbase having 2 top ten prospects. Our organization has been devoid of top prospects for years now. Bundy is only 19 and Machado turns 20 tomorrow.

Machado is already at Double A Bowie dispite only being 19. He has reached base safely in his last 10 games. Additionally, he has hit .351 with 14 RBIs in that span.
